To date, we sadly report that all attempts by our clients to "obedience train" their cats have failed miserably...

Obedience appears to be considered by cats to be "a dog thing", and in fact many cats take umbrage at the mere use of the word!

Seriously though, folks, we are frequently called upon to consult on behavior issues in our practice. The most common undesirable behaviors we are asked about are inappropriate elimination habits or house soiling, aggression towards other cats or people, and destructive clawing of furniture.

Each behavior consultation is an hour-long appointment with the veterinarian. Whenever possible, we prefer to have you fill out and return or fax back an extensive feline behavior history questionnaire ahead of time, which our nurse will provide for you.
