Dr. Valerie Creighton founded The Cat Doctor in Thousand Oaks, California in January 1995, fulfilling her dream of providing compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care in a setting comfortable for both cats and people. Dr. Lisa Goldstein has been on staff since July 2006, and Dr. Karen Lovelace joined us in January of 2007.
Our award-winning facility is spacious, clean and attractive, and was designed from the ground up to be cat-friendly.
We make use of the best that current technology has to offer, both in our medical and diagnostic equipment, and in our "paperless" computer system. Medical records and appointment schedules are computerized, making all information readily retrievable (and legible!) at the push of a button.
We are also very proud of our support staff here at The Cat Doctor. Our dedicated and experienced nursing staff sees to both patient care and client service in an attentive and caring way.
At The Cat Doctor, we have found that most of us consider our cats members of the family. Our goal is to inform and educate, but also to listen carefully to you, our client, so that together we may provide the best possible care for the feline members of your family!
